During the spring break, I got a chance to visit the Alpacas of the Southwest ranch in Kingman, Arizona by the old Route 66. The ranch provides an education tour for visitors. I’ve learned a lot about both animals at the ranch and fibers of alpacas, and operation of the ranch, as well getting some shopping done.
First, let’s take a look at their little store for all products made of alpaca fibers.

The short sports socks they sell here are unbelievably soft and smooth like cashmere. It’s an
essential if you have cold feet problem; I wear these socks to bed every night, and these socks keep my feet warm without suffocating them as a lot of other socks made of wool and cotton do.
