Cute Kid Findings

 

As the weather begins to get warmer, clothes are becoming brighter and fabrics getting thinner. Not only do I have to shop for myself for clothes, but being a parent I have to shop twice as much with having a daughter. With the growth rate of children, I like to have things that are cute as well as reasonable in price with knowing that things will be two small for her in the next month. So, as I was browsing the local mall to get ready for summer. Here are some things I came across that I thought were great for any parents with little girls out there that I wanted to share. Beware major cuteness happening ahead, let’s browse!!!

The pink/orange laser print flounce is currently offered at $16.19 for the bikini top. The bottom is priced at $12.99. While, the blue flounce is priced at $21.99 per piece. This makes each suit feasible for most  budgets.

Style Trip: Amazing Fibers from the Alpacas of the Southwest

During the spring break, I got a chance to visit the Alpacas of the Southwest ranch in Kingman, Arizona by the old Route 66. The ranch provides an education tour for visitors. I’ve learned a lot about both animals at the ranch and fibers of alpacas, and operation of the ranch, as well getting some shopping done.

First, let’s take a look at their little store for all products made of alpaca fibers.

Scarves in different colors and socks that are good keeping you cozy at night

The short sports socks they sell here are unbelievably soft and smooth like cashmere. It’s an 

essential if you have cold feet problem; I wear these socks to bed every night, and these socks keep my feet warm without suffocating them as a lot of other socks made of wool and cotton do.

Wrap yourself with those large blankets for a cold night by an outdoor fire pit at the beach

Head wraps, beanies, and knitwear for babies

Cardigans for adults

Sneakers, Really?! Yes, Sneakers!

During last Fall’s Chanel and Dior runways shows, I was blown away by the sneakers. Yes, that’s what I said…sneakers. You missed it? Okay, no judgments here! Take a quick look…

Chanel Fall 2014 RTW Show

Best 14 minutes spent this year? Okay, maybe not but it has to be at least one of the most fashionable! As usual, Karl Lagerfield out-did himself in spectacular fashion. And, Ms. Cara Delevingne made the show come alive. But as much as I adore Karl and Cara, I wasn't sold. Sneakers have been popular off the runway for eons. So, I chalked it up to a fun fashion moment. 

Let me be the first to say..."I was W-R-O-N-G". As I have said before fashion gets a bit sketchy...LOL! Allow me to introduce you (and myself) to a few of today's  designer sneakers...

Stylish with a much more appropriate price tag. retailing for $99 to $130. While the design is not an exact replica, the cool kid feeling is still in effect.

So, as we have mentioned many times before fashion can get a bit sketchy for college students. Sadly, for better or worst that means some items will be out of reach. Oh well, let's take a look at the gorgeous designs....
